MAPPING OF SECTORAL RISKS IN THE TUNISIAN ECONOMY
Tunisia Q2-2023
The year 2023 is confirming itself as a landing period for the Tunisian economy within an atypical 2019-2024 cycle in terms of growth and evolution of macroeconomic indicators. The cycle has been marked by sudden deteriorations (linked to Covid and the impacts of the war in Ukraine) and a gradual technical return to minimal levels of value creation. Without structural reforms, the Tunisian economy is heading, from 2024 onwards, towards structural stagnation, with growth rates below 2%, well below the economic, financial, and social needs of the country.
